Looking for something to watch this weekend (in addition to the MSU vs. U of M game, of course)?
If you’re making a trip to Blockbuster, I suggest picking up “Away We Go,” which was just released Tuesday. It’s directed by Sam Mendes of “American Beauty” fame, and stars John Krasinski and Maya Rudolph.
Burt (Krasinski) and Verona (Rudolph) are expecting a baby, and plan on moving closer to Burt’s parents to raise their child. However, their plans are ruined when Mr. and Mrs. Farlander abruptly decide to move to Belgium a month before the baby is due.
Wanting to raise their child around loved ones, Burt and Verona embark on a journey to find a new place to call home.
The unmarried couple travel around visiting old friends to find someone to share their experience with, ultimately seeing parts of Pheonix, Tuscon, Madison, Montreal and Miami.
It really is a sweet movie, and without giving too much away, I can tell you that the two eventually find their way.
