Iron & Wine recording session

Iron & Wine will release its latest album, “Kiss Each Other Clean,” on Jan. 25.

If you have 15 minutes to spare, spend them watching the following video. Even if you don’t, make the time.

Sam Beam has such pure, raw talent, it’s kind of scary.

If you must pick and choose, be sure to at least listen to “Tree By the River.” And then all the rest of them, because they’re just that good.

Who is Paul?

“Paul” is the story of two comic book nerds traveling cross country who encounter an alien named, you guessed it, Paul.

As if that isn’t enough to hook you already. Personally, all it took for me to be on board was hearing that the film stars Simon Pegg and Nick Frost.

The extraterrestrial is voiced by Seth Rogen and the film is directed by Greg Mottola, best known for “Superbad” and the TV series “Arrested Development.”

“Paul” is scheduled to hit theaters on March 18.

Season two of “The Walking Dead” sooner than expected?

If you’re a hardcore “Walking Dead” fan like myself, I’m sure your heart was crushed when you heard the show wouldn’t be back for its second season until Oct. 2011.

Towards the end of December, AMC released the following clip detailing some thoughts on the second season from the show’s cast and creators:

Vodpod videos no longer available.

They also informed us that “The Walking Dead” wouldn’t be back until October of this year. However, on Dec. 20, fellow AMC star Bryan Cranston of “Breaking Bad,” told NYMag that both shows were likely to make a comeback in July, not October.

My fingers are crossed that Cranston has his facts straight, but either way, I can’t wait for season two.
