I have returned!

Hey ya’ll. It’s been a long time since my last post. They were few and far between this past semester as it was, but anywho….

I have officially graduated from college (yay!), finished my last internship, got a puppy, and am back at my hometown job.

Please, try to contain your excitement. Seeing as how I have nothing but time nowadays, my goal is to get back into the swing of things blog-wise.

Things I am most excited about this summer:

  • Getting my puppy potty trained and through her teething phase (but seriously)
  • “The Dark Knight Rises”
  • “Prometheus”
  • Radiohead concert in June with my love
  • Ron Pope concert next week
  • My birthday
  • “The Dark Knight Rises”
  • Finding a grown up job
  • “Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter”
  • Did I mention “The Dark Knight Rises”?

Stay tuned!

Movie Poster: “The Dark Knight Rises”

Any day that includes Batman related news is a good day in my book. Today, Rotten Tomatoes unveiled the latest poster for Christopher Nolan’s highly anticipated film, “The Dark Knight Rises.”

Compared to the first teaser poster, I would much rather have the new one framed and on my wall. While they’re both awesome, the first one was pretty bland and could be used for any movie in the Batman franchise. The latest features Bane (the villain in “The Dark Knight Rises”) in the background.

As always, I’ll allow you to judge for yourself:

Agree or disagree?

Nolan nixes 3D and The Riddler

In an interview with The L.A. Times’ Hero Complex, Christopher Nolan revealed the title of his final Batman film: “The Dark Knight Rises.”

Nolan also shot down rumors that the villain of the story would be The Riddler, but confirmed nothing else. He did state that the movie would not be in 3D (thank the high heavens) but he is currently in talks with IMAX.

“We’ll use many of the same characters as we have all along, and we’ll be introducing some new ones,” Nolan said.

However, he wouldn’t give any details whatsoever as to who the villain will be.

“The Dark Knight Rises” is scheduled for release on July 20, 2010.
