In case you’ve been shipwrecked or living under a rock for the past few months, the Conan O’Brien/Jay Leno snafu has left O’Brien in a sticky situation.
After losing the Tonight Show, his contract states that he cannot do another television show until after Sept. 1.
A long time for die-hard fans to wait for their Coco fix, right? Maybe not.
There are supposedly live stage shows being planned that would bring O’Brien to major cities all across the U.S.
According to this New York Times article, O’Brien’s act would require stadiums and large venues, and would include some of his “Tonight Show” staffers.
Personally, I’m wondering what the format of the show would be like… perhaps a regular stand-up comedy tour or would it feature aspects from “The Tonight Show” like guests and interviews?
What do you think… would you shell out some cash to see O’Brien live??
